"Paper's Big Lie" is the second segment of the first episode of Rock, Paper, Scissors.
Synopsis[]
When Paper lies to impress his neighbor, Pencil, he winds up having to defend the world from an alien invasion.
Plot[]
When Paper lies to impress his neighbor, Pencil, he winds up having to defend the world from an alien invasion. The episode starts with Rock and Scissors, who were practicing a “jump-jump-kick” while Paper was in the middle of inventing something, until Rock and Scissors crashed into the floor hard, causing the invention to break. Paper starts to feel confused when he said “What the heck are you doing?” Scissors and Rock tried to do the kick, and they failed again. Paper then said “Somehow you two are dumber together.” However, Scissors said the exact opposite of what Paper said: “or we’re smarter together!” Rock and Scissors gave each other high fives. Seconds later, Pencil came to her neighbors, and Paper began to fall in love as he saw her. As Paper said that he also worked for a high-tech company, his brain began to freak out. Minutes later, the President of the United States came, telling Paper and Pencil that the Hipponoid Commander needs all of the food from Earth, or he and his army will invade the planet. Paper began to remind him that he can basically see and hear him, told him that an invention was gone, and he could not say why, because of “top secret”. The Hipponoid Commander asked Paper if he could build another one, and Paper agreed. Paper’s brain began to scream on a pillow. The Hipponoid Commander gave Paper and Pencil the deadline of building the invention, and ended the call. Rock and Scissors then called Paper and Pencil, only to tell them that they got better at doing the “jump-jump-kick”. As they showed Paper and Pencil this, Rock began tumbling at the floor lamp, while Scissors bounced on a coffee table. Paper began to feel so much stress as he watched Rock and Scissors perform the jump-jump-kick. Then, Paper and Pencil then cooperated to create the invention that creates food, and “unlimited food.” After a long time of work, Paper then showed the Hipponoid Commander the device, but it was not working. The Hipponoid Commander became so upset that he automatically started the invasion. Paper immediately stopped the invasion, only to apologize about his dishonesty. Hipponoid Commander accepted the apology, as he told Paper how he became dishonest, just to impress his crush. Rock and Scissors arrived, and Paper and the Hipponoid Commander was pretending to fight. The fake fight finally ended, and Paper finally apologized about his dishonesty to Pencil, with the help of his brain. Minutes later, Rock and Scissors did a surprise jump-jump-kick at Paper, and they finally succeeded.

Trivia[]
- When Paper meets Pencil, he says "I love you." He said this again in Hide and Seek which then leads to going back a few seconds into time. Also, when they make the food machine and Pencil asked Paper if he wanted anything to add, he accidentally said, "You’re my everything."
- This is the last episode to be aired in 2023.
- This never aired in Southeast Asia due to the Hipponoid Commander being an LGBTQ+ character.
